About Us

Jersey City Medical Center Foundation is dedicated to nurturing philanthropic support for the programs and services of Jersey City Medical Center. The Foundation aims to provide meaningful opportunities to support the health of the community, within the walls of the hospital and beyond.
Patient care requires advanced technology, highly skilled professionals, and enhanced programs and services to meet the unique needs of many diverse individuals. Without the generosity of our donor family, it would not be possible to make these important investments and remain at the forefront.

Jersey City Medical Center (JCMC), an RWJBarnabas Health facility, unveiled its new serenity garden and “Healing and Hope” stained-glass artwork designed by local artist Harriet Hyams.
The serenity garden serves as a place of reflection and peace for patients, employees, and members of the community. The garden was established through donations from the community, with a recognition wall dedicated to all who supported the hospital’s COVID-19 Emergency Response, front-line caregivers, and those whose memory they honor.
Jersey City Medical Center (JCMC) is proud to have been part of and a major sponsor of the Jersey City Jazz Festival, which showcased over 100 musicians on June 1 – 4. Thank you to Riverview Jazz, led by Bryan Beninghove, and the entire team for the partnership and for organizing an amazing outdoor community event. Together we are creating and sustaining healthy communities!
The Green Apple RX FoodFarmacy at Jersey City Medical Center is leading the way in addressing food insecurity and promoting nutritional counseling for patients with chronic health conditions. With donor support, the Food FARMacy has screened more than 1,200 primary care patients for food insecurity and has distributed 3,000+ bags of food to community members in Hudson County.
Jersey City Medical Center, celebrated the opening of a new satellite facility at Exchange Place. Local and state officials, including Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop, joined the Medical Center in the ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the new medical facility’s official opening.
