About The Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club is a monthly networking, business referral and resource meeting, helping participants build a personal and professional network and including an educational focus related to a SBC priority. It meets on third Fridays, either in-person or virtually.

In-person events include structured and open networking and clearly defined learning outcomes with information you can use to strengthen your organization. 

Virtual, members-only meetings allow members to pitch their own businesses to generate referrals, and attendees will learn valuable Hudson Chamber tips for success. 

Meet Dr. Gulhan Bizel

Chair & Executive Director of the Data Science Institute, Saint Peter's University

Gulhan Bizel, Ph.D., MBA, is a highly accomplished academic and administrative professional with over two decades of demonstrated success in both higher education and industry. With a strong commitment to student success, Dr. Bizel currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Saint Peter’s University’s Data Science Institute, a role she has held since 2019. Her teaching prowess spans both undergraduate and graduate levels, encompassing various modalities including on-ground, hybrid, and online formats. Dr. Bizel’s academic leadership is extensive, highlighted by her recent appointment as Executive Director of Graduate Business Education (2024-present) and her ongoing tenure as Director & Chair of the Data Science Institute (2022-Present), overseeing six MS/PhD programs. She has also directed the Master’s in Marketing Science Program since 2019 and holds numerous committee memberships, including the Faculty Senate Committee and the Committee on Enrollment.
