Be a Part of the Jersey Cares Associate Board

• We are currently accepting applications for the 2026 - 2028 Associate Board! This is a great opportunity for emerging leaders to network and build relationships with like-minded professionals. Ideal candidates are passionate about volunteerism and have 5 years of experience in their chosen career field.

Participate in the Jersey Cares Halloween Costume Drive

• Help ensure every child living in New Jersey has a chance to bring their imagination to life with the perfect Halloween costume!
• If your organization would like to collect costumes, you may register HERE and host a collection anytime between Monday, September 8th – Monday, October 20th.
• If you are interested in supporting virtually, check out our Amazon Wish List, ship items directly to the Jersey Cares Office beginning Monday, September 8th, or create a fundraising page to help us purchase new costumes.
• If you would like to volunteer to sort or distribute Halloween costumes, we will have sorting parties hosted at our offices in Livingston, NJ October 16th – October 23rd. Click HERE to sign up.

Support the Jersey Cares Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

• The Jersey Cares Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, taking place on Monday, January 19th, 2026, engages hundreds of people across the state to embody Dr. King's vision and bring people of all ages and backgrounds together to strengthen their communities. • Due to the abrupt cancellation of AmeriCorps contracts, Jersey Cares is now facing an unexpected loss of revenue which completely funded our MLK Day of Service as well as provided support to our calendar programs.
• By becoming a site sponsor, you can ensure that hundreds of volunteers and nonprofit partners can participate in this community-centered event and help build a stronger New Jersey. Please see the Site Sponsorship Options HERE to review different levels of giving.

• For 2026, we are seeking donated event spaces to help us expand this impactful day of service. By donating your space, you make it possible for families and community members to volunteer together, nonprofits across NJ to receive vital supplies, and hundreds of participants to gather safely and comfortably. For the most successful, safe, and comfortable day of service, event spaces should be sure to accommodate: 
  • Room for 200 People
  • At least 25 Tables & 200 Chairs for Volunteers
  • 10 Folding Tables for Supplies
  • Parking for 150-200 People
