Are you a musician, singer, songwriter, poet, writer, actor, dancer, comedian, mentalist, storyteller, juggler, ventriloquist, mime, or anything in between? Have we got the night for you! Come out to Mile Square Theatre’s popular Open Mic Night on Wednesday, December 3rd and share your talent! Now in its fourth month, Open Mic Night draws a regular crowd of artists and welcoming audiences alike. Hosted by Hoboken’s own Nicole Spano and Cabaret Dave, Mile Square Theatre has created a safe space to share original and scripted works in a theater environment with an enthusiastic audience. Come to share or come to enjoy - all are welcome and the tickets are free! As an added bonus, you can expect door prizes and surprises all night long. A piano will be available, and a piano accompanist if you need (sheet music required). Also: a microphone, music stand, stool, and guitar amp, plus the ability to play tracks (if needed) - all you need to shine like a star! Holiday themes encouraged (but not required) for this special edition of our open mic. Also, in this season of giving, we will be collecting unwrapped gifts for teens for the Hudson County Community Center. Games, puzzles, blue tooth speakers, etc. will all be gratefully accepted and delivered to local families in need. It all starts at 7:30 pm. Come early to sign up - doors open at 7pm.
