Senior Advisor for Rep. Rob Menendez (NJ-08)

Congressman Rob Menendez (NJ-08) is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative senior advisor to join his Jersey City, New Jersey office. Title and salary are commensurate with experience.

This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the district office; leading strategic outreach initiatives across the district; developing solutions to address the most pressing issues impacting residents; and fostering cross-departmental collaboration to advance priorities and strengthen relationships with community stakeholders. The position also provides support across the district office as needed, assisting with additional priorities and responsibilities to ensure the office operates effectively. Many of these essential job functions must be performed in-person.

The ideal candidate is passionate about serving New Jersey’s 8th Congressional District and thrives in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. They enjoy designing and executing initiatives that achieve meaningful outcomes for the district and its residents. The ideal candidate is proactive, results oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail. This position works collaboratively with the District Director and the other department leads while reporting to the Chief of Staff. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
